hot cross buns

Hi this is what i did on Friday, which you can see i made some not cross buns without the cross. i did try to make some  crosses but when, i put them in the oven the crosses went away. As you can see in the photo i am glazing them.
they took a bit to make but it was worth it. i hope you like this big rant of me making hot cross buns.
something i learnt with this is that if you put yeast in dough and don't cook it it will still rise.

  1. Hi Joshua, What a great idea! I can see you have learnt a lot about making Hot Cross Buns and that the yeast is important for the buns to rise. Unfortunately I am unable to see the photo of you glazing your Hot Cross Buns but well done for putting a photo on your blog. I look forward to seeing what else you can make from home. Keep up the great work! Mrs Feather
